Bunny's Tavern

Bunny’s was named for its original owner Bernard “Bunny” Fitzsimmons, who opened for business in 1936.  Serving daily food specials for a mere thirty-five cents and ten-cent draft beers, Bunny’s catered to locals and students alike. 

Major renovations, both interior and exterior, have taken place over the years—most notably the addition of the spacious beer garden and a complete remodel to the inside.

What hasn’t changed, though, is the good cheer and friendly atmosphere that makes Bunny’s the best kept secret in downtown Urbana.
